Rock a Rail is an urban, street-style ski and snowboard show that brings the mountain right into the heart of the city. A creative rail setup, spectacular tricks, live music and a real festival vibe open up the world of freestyle riding event. In 2026, Hungary will host the Rock a Rail Snowboard European Cup for the very first time.

In 2026, the Hungarian Snowboard Association is bringing Rock a Rail to Hungary, one of Europe’s most spectacular urban snowboard and freeski shows.
On a specially built rail and jump course created just for this occasion, some of the world’s top riders will showcase their tricks just a few metres from the crowd, in a genuine street-style urban setting.
The event will be accompanied by live music, spectacular lighting and a full-on festival atmosphere, so even those who have never stood on a board or skis can experience the excitement of the freestyle world.
Rock a Rail aims to bring modern snowboard and ski culture closer to the local audience, inspire a new generation, and show that winter belongs not only to the mountains, but to the city as well.
