In 2021, the City Park Ice Rink reopened its doors, welcoming skating enthusiasts in this exceptional setting, where it has been operating since 1870. Interest is usually huge, so it’s recommended to choose online ticket purchase. Located on the eastern side of the City Park Lake, the Ice Rink is one of the oldest in Europe. It underwent a major renovation in 2010.

During opening hours, skate rental is continuously available, and two sharpening workshops also serve guests’ comfort. If children under 14 need assistance to skate confidently, seal (fóka) rental is also available.

The ticket price for the Generali Freeze Festival does not include skate rental.

The rental fee is 3000 HUF per pair, and skates can be rented at the official rental point of the City Park Ice Rink. Skate rental tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices located next to the entrance, as well as at the ticket counter placed next to the skate rental area on the lower level.
